Kefas declares free education in Taraba main, secondary schools

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has declared free education in all state-owned main and secondary schools.

He introduced on Friday that free college education would start with the following educational session.

The governor, who made the announcement whereas on an evaluation tour of main and secondary schools in Wukari Local Government Council, said that the motion is meant to mitigate the consequences of the elimination of the petrol subsidy.

Primary and secondary education in Taraba can be free starting with the following educational session, which begins in September 2023, he stated.
