FAAN suspends taxi services at Abuja airport

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has suspended taxi services at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja.

Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at FAAN, disclosed this recently.

The suspension which commenced from Thursday, FAAN said, followed the lingering factional crisis among the car rental operators in NAIA.

Consequently, FAAN urged airport users to use alternative transportation means.

“This is due to the unresolved factional dispute amongst the car hire operators,” the statement reads.
