Guber Polls: End Gov Bello’s eight years of suffering in Kogi – SDP charges voters

Voters in Kogi State have been admonished to remain resolute to end the alleged eight years of suffering imposed by Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration.

The Deputy Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the November 11 Governorship election in Kogi State, Sam Ranti Abenemi, gave the advice on Friday while addressing a large crowd of supporters in Lokoja.

Abenemi, who described Governor Bello’s eight years as the worst government in the history of Kogi State told residents not to be intimidated by any forces of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) led administration.

The former Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) State Deputy Chairman, charged the electorates to desist from taking money offered to them by the ruling party but proceed to vote the APC out.

He also asked the electorates to reward Governor Bello and the APC by voting Muritala Yakubu Ajaka the SDP in the election and extinguish the APC from Kogi State.

Abenemi further pointed out that the Lokoja Water Works which was once the pride of Lokojans, had under the APC-led government of Bello, become a shadow of itself.

His words “The time to make a change has come; participate in the ballot revolution. All Kogites are angry. The only solution is to come out and wipe away everything that represents APC.”
