Justice for Mohbad: A Call for Restoring Hope in Nigeria’s Justice System

The Senior Pastor of Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, Pastor Adewale Giwa, has called on President Bola Tinubu to ensure justice is served for the late afrobeat musician, Promise Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad-Imole, who tragically passed away recently.

Pastor Giwa emphasized that delivering justice in this case is not only crucial for honoring Mohbad’s memory but also for restoring hope in the hearts of Nigerians who seek fairness and accountability within the country’s justice system.

The grief and outcry of Nigerians over the untimely death of Mohbad reflect their deep desire for justice. As a talented musician, Mohbad endured considerable hardship throughout his life, and even in death, his suffering persists.

“One important step President Tinubu can take to bring happiness to Nigerians is to ensure that those responsible for the death of this young man are brought to justice. Mohbad suffered while he was alive, and he continues to suffer even after his demise,” Pastor Giwa expressed.

The cleric further highlighted the importance of conducting a thorough autopsy to explore the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death. Autopsies involve the comprehensive examination of a deceased person’s body, which requires the removal and examination of organs, if necessary.

“Mohbad’s suffering did not end with his passing. It is therefore my appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the government controls the police, to ensure justice in this case and hold those responsible for Mohbad’s death accountable,” Pastor Giwa appealed.
