The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has launched a thorough investigation into the tragic death of Ms Greatness Olorunfemi. Ms Olorunfemi was forcefully ejected from a moving vehicle by criminal elements on September 26 2023 along the Maitama-Kubwa highway in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Disturbing evidence has come to light, suggesting that Ms. Olorunfemi was immediately rushed by good Samaritans to Maitama General Hospital. Shockingly, the hospital staff turned her away, insisting on the requirement of a police report.
Mr. Babatunde Irukera, the Executive Vice Chairman of the FCCPC, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and associates of the deceased.
The FCCPC is collaborating with relevant stakeholders, including the Office of the Mandate Security for Health Services and Environment for the Federal Capital Territory, to launch a comprehensive inquiry into the incident that tragically resulted in the untimely death of Ms. Olorunfemi.
