The Senate has urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to intervene within the ongoing battle between Israel and Hamas to convey it to an finish.

This adopted the adoption of a movement titled “Urgent Need to Call for Ceasefire on the Ongoing Conflict Between Israel and Hamas” by senators Adamu Alero (PDP, Kebbi) and Sumalia Kawu (NNPP, Kano) and co-sponsored by 43 others on the plenary on Tuesday.

Presenting the movement, Alero mentioned the Israeli-Palestinian battle is a fancy and long-standing battle that has been happening for over 100 years.
