Vigilante Members Neutralize 4 Bandits in Successful Ambush in Kebbi

In a swift and courageous response to an attack on a resident of Dan-Umaru village in Bena District, Kebbi, members of the vigilante group have heroically eliminated four bandits. This commendable feat was confirmed by Ahmed Idris, the spokesperson for Governor Mohammed Nasir-Idris, in a statement released in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.

According to Mr. Idris, AbdulRahman Usman, the director of Security at the Cabinet Office, reported that the bandits launched their attack on Monday. However, the vigilante group, mobilized into action, skillfully ambushed the bandits, resulting in the neutralization of four of the assailants as they attempted to flee towards Zamfara.

The confrontation took place near the border of Dan-Umaru village, which shares proximity with the Dadin Duniya community in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara. The director further disclosed that the bodies of the attackers have been interred at Dan-Umaru village while the victim is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed healthcare facility.

As the community begins to heal from this traumatic experience, this bold display of bravery by the vigilante group serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and properties of the people.
