Bauchi Governor Commends Tinubu’s Commitment to Nigeria

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has expressed his admiration for President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to serving Nigeria and humanity.

Speaking to journalists in Makkah, Saudi Arabia on Monday, Governor Mohammed emphasized his respect for President Tinubu, despite political party disparities, and expressed optimism for Nigeria’s future.

“We must acknowledge President Tinubu’s dedication to Nigeria and his efforts to rejuvenate the ailing economy. His actions indicate progress towards a new Nigeria,” Governor Mohammed remarked.

Commenting on the President’s prayers for the country’s well-being in Islam’s holiest place, Governor Mohammed expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s ability to fulfill the Nigerian populace’s aspirations.

“Regardless of our political variances, I hold a deep regard for the President. While he prayed for Nigeria, I also prayed for him, understanding that praying for our leaders is tantamount to praying for ourselves,” the governor stated.

Furthermore, Governor Mohammed highlighted the assurances gleaned from President Tinubu’s tenure as the former governor of Lagos State, citing Lagos as a beacon of transformation that Nigeria can emulate in the near future.

“His past accomplishments in Lagos speak volumes. The progress of Lagos, not just in Nigeria but across Africa, exemplifies the transformation Nigeria yearns for and will soon experience,” he affirmed.

Similarly, Ambassador Yahaya Lawal, Nigeria’s envoy to Saudi Arabia, remarked on the beneficial outcomes of the President’s visit, particularly in strengthening the Saudi-Nigerian trade relations through enhanced investment commitments.

“I am thrilled to witness these developments during my tenure as ambassador. The warm reception accorded to the President reflects the respect and esteem Nigeria commands,” Ambassador Lawal stated.

He also anticipated positive outcomes in the near future from the President’s participation in the summit and urged Nigerians to continue praying for their leaders and country, underscoring the pivotal role of citizen support in governance success.
