Flying Eagles Coach Bosso Confident of Bounce Back After Uganda Loss

Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso, remains confident despite a disappointing start for his team at the African Games 2023. The team suffered a 2-1 defeat to Uganda’s Hippos, putting a dent in their campaign. Despite being the favorites, the Flying Eagles failed to deliver on the pitch.

Bosso, however, is not disheartened by the setback and is determined to see his players bounce back. He emphasized the importance of the upcoming games and the potential for a turnaround in their fortunes. “We would have a positive meeting with the players. It is important that they express themselves,” Bosso stated after the game.

The coach highlighted the need for the team to learn from their mistakes and approach the next game against South Sudan with a positive mindset. He stressed the importance of every player understanding their role and the collective goal they are working towards.

The Flying Eagles will have a chance to redeem themselves in their next Group B game at the Accra Sports Stadium. Bosso is optimistic that his players will rise to the occasion and showcase their true potential on the field. Stay tuned for more updates on their journey at the African Games 2023.
