Super Eagles Duo Bassey and Onyeka Leave Camp Ahead of Mali Friendly

The dynamic duo of Calvin Bassey and Frank Onyeka from the Super Eagles have bid farewell to the team camp as they head back to the UK ahead of the upcoming international friendly against Mali on Tuesday.

While Bassey was unable to participate in the recent victory over Ghana, Onyeka did play a part in the match. However, both players have decided to return to their base in the UK to focus on their recovery as the season enters its crucial stages.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Eagles squad remains in camp, diligently preparing for the upcoming friendly match. With all 22 remaining players in top form and available for selection, Nigeria is gearing up to face Mali at the Grand Stade de Marrakech.

Interim head coach, Finidi George, is expected to make some changes to the starting lineup as the team aims for another impressive performance on the international stage.
