Opta Predicts Manchester City as Title Favourites with Liverpool Close Behind

Manchester City has now been named the frontrunners for the Premier League title, with a 40% chance of winning, according to Opta. This comes after Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Manchester United on Sunday, which has seen them drop to a 31% chance of winning the title. Arsenal, who are currently at the top of the table, are given a 29% chance.

Liverpool had started the day as the favourites, but they needed a late penalty from Mohamed Salah to salvage a point at Old Trafford. Manchester United had come from behind to take the lead with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo.

Next up, Liverpool will face Crystal Palace, while Arsenal will host Aston Villa and Manchester City will play against Luton Town at the Etihad.

The race for the title is heating up, with each game becoming more crucial as the season progresses. Stay tuned for more updates on the Premier League title race.
