Conte Urges Osimhen to Keep Working Hard Amid Uncertain Future

Napoli Manager Conte Tells Osimhen to Stay Focused Amid Uncertainty Over Transfer

In a straightforward assessment of Victor Osimhen’s situation, Napoli manager Antonio Conte has advised the Nigerian striker to keep working hard, despite the uncertainty surrounding his future with the Italian club.

According to Conte, Osimhen had a pre-existing agreement to leave Napoli this summer, but any potential buyer would need to pay the staggering €130 million release clause in his contract. However, as it stands, no European club is willing to pay this hefty fee, leaving Osimhen’s future uncertain.

"We’re not sure where Victor will be playing next season," Conte revealed, as reported by transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano.

Despite the uncertainty, Conte expressed confidence in Osimhen’s abilities, stating, "I spoke to Victor and there are no changes on his situation. He’s a top player." However, the Napoli manager emphasized the need for Osimhen to maintain his focus and continue working hard, "even if we’ve an agreement [for his potential exit] and still we don’t know the outcome of this story."

With his uncertain future hanging in the balance, Osimhen will undoubtedly face challenges in staying motivated, but Conte’s words serve as a timely reminder of the importance of dedication and perseverance. For now, Osimhen will continue to play for Napoli, giving fans hope that a solution can be found before the transfer window closes.
