#NigeriaElections2023: Voters stranded at Fagge D1 Ward, others in Kano

Many voters were on Saturday stranded at the Fagge D1 Ward following the inability of the Independent National Electoral Commission to bring the election materials to the four polling units of the ward.

The ward comprising Ofishin Galadima, Gidan Maiunguwa, Layin Kampala and Kuka primary school polling units were not provided with the election materials as at 12:35pm.

One of the Voters, Auwalu Musa Fagge who besieged the polling units lamented that they went to the polling units as early as 8:30am but could not see any electoral officer let alone the election materials as at 12:35pm.

He said many voters who became angry had started returning to their respective houses as they could not continue to wait.

Meanwhile, reports from Hotoro North in Kano metropolis and Wuro Bagga polling units indicated that electoral officials and election materials had yet to arrive at the centres.
