The 2.6 update for *Wuthering Waves* adds two new Resonators: Augusta and Iuno. Augusta is an Electro primary DPS who deals most of her damage through Heavy Attack DMG. Her damage can be amplified by characters such as Iuno, Morteffi, and Phrolova, who provide Heavy Attack DMG buffs, while Yinlin can increase Electro DMG, giving Augusta flexible team options. Her enhanced Resonance Liberation even stops time—including timers in end‑game content—allowing her to continue dealing damage uninterrupted.
Iuno serves as a support character. She can heal allies and buff Heavy Attack DMG, and her Outro Skill shines when paired with Augusta and Jiyan. Iuno’s Forte Circuit offers stackable DMG amplification, but it only applies to Resonators that can accumulate up to ten shields, which limits her viable team compositions.
Because gacha currency is limited, acquiring both characters may be difficult. Between the two, Augusta is generally the better choice thanks to her high damage output and versatility across team setups. Iuno’s usefulness is largely confined to specific pairings, making her less attractive for players without Jiyan or those not focused on Augusta.
The addition of Augusta and Iuno expands strategic options for players, who will need to adapt and decide which characters to prioritize. Currently, Augusta’s strength in Electro‑related content makes her a highly sought‑after addition to any roster.
