Chris Jericho, a veteran professional wrestler, has been absent from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) television for several months, fueling rumors of a possible return to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). His last appearance on AEW TV was on April 9, when his stable, The Learning Tree, disbanded. Just three days earlier, he had lost the Ring of Honor World Championship to Bandido on AEW Dynamite.

Since then, Jericho has been touring with his band, Fozzy. The group was originally scheduled to perform at All In: Texas in July, but the plans were canceled, adding further uncertainty to his wrestling future. With his AEW contract reportedly set to expire at the end of the year, fans and industry insiders are closely watching his next move.

In a recent interview on Busted Open Radio, Jericho was asked about his future plans but remained tight‑lipped, replying, “We don’t know, right? We’ll just have to see.” Having spent six years with AEW, he has been instrumental in helping the company build a solid fan base. A return to WWE would be a significant development, potentially positioning him for a surprise appearance at the 2026 Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

Despite his absence from AEW television, Jericho has shown no signs of slowing down; his recent matches demonstrate his continued passion for the sport. As the wrestling world waits with bated breath, one thing is clear—Jericho’s decision will have major implications for the industry, and his future will be monitored closely by fans and insiders alike.
