Drowning incident claims boy in Kano State pond

A tragic incident occurred in Kano State, Nigeria, where a 14-year-old boy, Sulaiman Nura Ado, lost his life in a drowning accident. The team arrived at the scene and retrieved the boy from the water, but unfortunately, he was found unconscious. Despite efforts to revive him, Sulaiman was confirmed dead at the scene. His body was subsequently handed over to the police, with Police Constable Mubarak Ishak of the Rijiyar Zaki Police Division taking custody.

The Kano State Fire Service expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased and urged parents and guardians to exercise caution and prevent children from engaging in unsafe swimming practices.
