Warri Wolves have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of 12 new players, Media Talk Africa reports. The Nigerian club unveiled the signings at their headquarters in Asaba, signaling an active recruitment drive ahead of the new season.
The new recruits include James Akawu, Ubah Cyracus, Blessing Ndubisi, Alex Aguodoh, Auwal Abubakar, Okon Samuel, Sani Ahmed, George Ekong, Wisdom Tom, Eventus Towo, Kennedy Anslem, and Ezegbu Divine Justice. All 12 players were presented to the media and club stakeholders during the unveiling ceremony.
Warri Wolves are expected to announce further additions before the start of the 2026-27 season. The Seasiders will begin their league campaign with a clash against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
The flurry of signings reflects the club’s intent to strengthen its roster for the upcoming campaign. Management has indicated that the recruitment process remains ongoing, with additional players potentially joining the squad before the season opener.
