BREAKING: Senate adjourns plenary for Easter, Eid holidays

The Senate on Wednesday adjourned the plenary till April 25, 2023, to allow lawmakers observe the Easter and Eid-El-Fitr holidays.

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, made the announcement shortly before the end of the plenary in Abuja.

He said the break would enable lawmakers to participate in their various religious activities as well as take deserved rest.
