Wike returns, announces Tinubu’s visit to Rivers

Governor Nyesom Wike returned to Rivers State on Wednesday after his trip to a country in Europe.

The governor embarked on the inspection of some projects ahead of the planned inauguration next week.

Wike was accompanied by Governor-elect, Sim Fubara, top officials of Julius Berger, among others.

The two projects are the 12th flyover bridge and the new Magistrate Court complex in Port Harcourt, the capital.

The flyover is at the popular Rumuokwuta and Rumuola junctions in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area (LGA).

The Magistrate Court was constructed at the Moscow Road in the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area (LGA).

The Rivers helmsman announced that the projects will be commissioned by President-elect, Bola Tinubu on May 3.
