President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Ọba Sikiru Adetọna, the Awùjalẹ̀ of Ijẹbu Kingdom in Ogun State, on his 89th birthday.
Buhari destined the monarch as one of the most remarkable personalities in Nigeria.
In a statement by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday in Abuja, the president praised the qualities of Adetọna for his dedication to the welfare of his people and Nigeria at large.
He said: “Your dedication to the welfare of your subjects and our country and its people is highly appreciated.
”Your vision, warmth and commitment to your friends are incomparable. I am very proud of my relationship with Your Majesty.
”May you continue to lead a long and healthy life.”
Buhari also prayed to Allah to give the monarch the strength and health to reach all his goals.
He urged him to continue making his numerous efforts for our nation’s progress.
