As Nigeria continues to navigate its way towards sustainable economic and political progress, the efforts and achievements of its leaders, especially in crucial sectors like governance, cannot be overemphasized. This is why a new book titled ‘Putting the People First: The El-Rufai Years’, written by veteran journalist, Emmanuel Ado, will be unveiled on Saturday, chronicling Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s eight years in office in Kaduna State.
The public presentation is expected to be graced by notable personalities including the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the former Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi. The event is billed to take place on Saturday.

The book also features a forward from the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, who describes it as a collection of articles on the 8 years of the El-Rufai administration, providing perspectives on policy decisions, revenue generation, public service and local government reforms, security challenges, and the ongoing pandemic.

The event will also have His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President-Elect, Federal Republic of Nigeria as the Special Guest of Honour.
