Soludo Denies Being Bounced off VIP Box at Tinubu’s Inauguration, Pledges Loyalty to APC

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has pledged to work with the government of President Bola Tinubu. Speaking during the inauguration of the regional headquarters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Awka, he dismissed rumours that he was stopped by Department of State Services (DSS) operatives from entering the state box during Tinubu’s inauguration in Abuja.

Soludo stated that he was redirected to the VVIP box after approaching the VIP box, contrary to the allegations that he was bounced by the DSS. He also revealed that All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) will collaborate with Tinubu’s government, just like it has with previous governments at the center.

“We shall work and collaborate with the party and government at the centre and that was what we met and what was written…” Soludo said.

The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) clarified that if he had been aware of the rumours that he would be bounced from the VIP box, he would have preferred to stay with the masses, as APGA is a party of the masses.
