Kano State Assembly Approves Appointment of 20 Special Advisers for Governor Abba Yusuf

The Kano State House of Assembly has granted the request of Governor Abba Yusuf for the appointment of 20 special advisers to assist him in implementing his policies and programmes for the people. The approval was made during the Assembly’s plenary on Wednesday in Kano.

Deputy Speaker, Muhammad Butu (NNPP-Rimingado/Tofa) moved the motion for the appointment of the special advisers, which was seconded by Zubairu Masu (NNPP-Sumaila) and unanimously adopted when put to a voice vote by the Speaker, Ismail Falgore.

According to Governor Yusuf’s letter to the lawmakers, the appointment of advisers would be crucial in the consolidation of his policies and programmes. The request was diligently considered, and the House approved the appointment of the 20 Special Advisers to enable the governor to realize his vision for the state.

The appointment of the special advisers will enable Governor Yusuf to tap into their wealth of experience and expertise in assisting him in realizing his development agenda, which he has promised to deliver to the people of Kano.
