The dissolution, which was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Gebon Timothy Kataps, said it is “with immediate effect.”

Part of the statement read, “members of the Boards and Commissions affected, are directed to, as a matter of urgency, hand over all government assets and property, moveable and immovable in their possession to the most senior civil servant in such Board or Commission”.

They were also ordered to execute the directive within 48 hours from the date of the announcement.
