Serena Williams Welcomes the Arrival of her Second Child

Tennis icon, Serena Williams, has recently given birth to her second child, a beautiful baby girl named Adira River Ohanian.

In heartwarming social media posts on Tuesday, Serena and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, shared their joyous announcement with the world.

“Welcome my beautiful angel,” Williams captioned a delightful video uploaded on TikTok.

The video features Serena, Alexis, and their adorable four-year-old daughter, Olympia, embracing the precious newborn.

Expressing his gratitude, Ohanian posted on the messaging platform X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, “I’m grateful to report our home is overflowing with love: a happy and healthy newborn girl and a happy and healthy mama. Feeling truly blessed.”

Williams, a remarkable 23-time Grand Slam champion, had announced her pregnancy in May during her appearance on the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York.

With the arrival of baby number two, a return to competitive tennis seems highly unlikely for the 41-year-old superstar.

Serena Williams stands as one of the most illustrious athletes in history to wield a tennis racket.
