AEDC confirms power outage in parts of FCT

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, says a technical fault on its feeder is the reason for a power outage in Mabushi, Jahi, Kado Kuchi and other areas in the Federal Capital Territory.

The Company made this known on Tuesday through its official X handle.

AEDC said other affected areas are Naval Quarters and Lakeview homes.

“The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution PLC, AEDC, wishes to notify its esteemed customers in Mabushi, Lakeview Homes, Kado Kuchi, Naval Quarters, parts of Jahi and environs(Abuja) that the power outage being experienced is due to a technical fault in the feeder serving these areas”, the notice stated.

The notice is coming barely five after the country was thrown into a blackout following the collapse of the National grid.
