Ex-Kaduna gov, Ramalan Yero resigns from PDP, returns membership card

Former Kaduna State governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Yero announced his resignation in a letter addressed to his Kaura Ward Chairman.

The former governor said his resignation takes effect from September 30, 2023.

In the letter, the former governor attached his membership card.

According to Yero: “With grateful to Almighty Allah, I write to extend my sincere greetings and to formally inform you of my decision to leave the Peoples Democratic party.

“In view of this, I hereby tender my resignation as a member of PDP with effect from 30th September.

“Enclosed herewith is my membership card duly returned.”
