Ex-Inter Milan Defends Chelsea Loanee, Lukaku, for Controversial Comments

Former Inter Milan defender, Antonio Paganin, has criticized Romelu Lukaku, currently on loan at Chelsea, for his recent statement claiming that he will disclose shocking details about his departure from the club.

Lukaku was on the verge of returning to Inter Milan after his successful loan spell with the Serie A giants. However, the deal fell through when Inter discovered that Lukaku was also in talks with their league rivals, Juventus.

Italian media, pundits, and football fans heavily criticized Lukaku amidst the transfer saga, as he eventually joined AS Roma under the management of Jose Mourinho.

In response to Lukaku’s comments, Paganin expressed his disappointment, stating, “I admired his silence until now. However, the moment he mentioned that he would speak, he lost my respect.”

Paganin further added, “We are clearly lacking something, but now it’s time for Lukaku to either speak or remain silent.”
