Embracing Polygamy: Erigga Defends Men’s Right to Multiple Partners

Popular Nigerian hip-hop artist, Erhiga Agarivbie, widely known as Erigga, has recently sparked a debate by advocating for men’s freedom to have multiple sex partners or spouses. In a candid interview with Cool FM Nigeria in Lagos, the talented rapper challenged societal stereotypes and questioned why men should be condemned for engaging in polygamous relationships.

Erigga argued that society often dictates that men must possess wealth before being entitled to have a woman. Consequently, he believes that society should not judge men for embracing polygamy once they have attained financial success. “A society that tells a man he cannot have a woman until he has money should not dictate the number of women he can have when he achieves that financial success,” Erigga stated.

As an artist, Erigga candidly shared his own experiences in the entertainment industry and the challenges he has faced in maintaining his stardom. He revealed that he has had to overcome setbacks and reinvent himself multiple times to regain the spotlight. “I have had to ‘blow’ thrice,” Erigga emphasized, highlighting his resilience and ability to bounce back after encountering obstacles.
