INEC Commences Collation Centre Setup for Kogi Gubernatorial Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially initiated the establishment of the collation centre for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State.

Amidst a palpable air of anticipation and political fervor, the commission had initially scheduled the commencement of collation for 10 am on Sunday morning. However, at the time of this report, an exhaustive vetting process for accredited media houses and Civil Society Organizations was still in progress.

The surroundings of the collation centre are shrouded in an aura of heightened security, with a notable presence of law enforcement officials and a myriad of political party representatives, alongside local government electoral and collation officers, all actively engaged in their respective roles.
