As the 2026 World Cup qualification journey unfolds, Nigeria has cemented its position in third place within Group C of the CAF qualification series.

Currently, Rwanda leads the group with four points, followed by South Africa with three points. Nigeria, Lesotho, and Zimbabwe stand tied with two points each, whereas Benin trails with one point.
