Manchester United’s rising star, Kobbie Mainoo, recently shared his admiration for the club’s legendary players Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, and Eric Cantona. Mainoo, who dreams of representing the England national team, reminisced about the impact Rooney, Scholes, and Cantona had on him as a young fan. Despite being born after their prime, he still holds them in high regard.
“I loved watching Rooney, Paul Scholes, as well as King Eric Cantona. It was a bit before my time, but I still appreciate their talent,” Mainoo shared. “As a kid, you always dream of playing for England. But back then, I was just focused on taking each game as it came.”
