Juwon Oshaniwa Endorses Finidi George as Super Eagles Head Coach

Former Super Eagles defender Juwon Oshaniwa has thrown his support behind Finidi George as the ideal candidate to lead the team, according to a report by Media Talk Africa. Finidi has been appointed as the interim head coach of the Super Eagles until a permanent coach is named. The former winger, who also serves as the head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League champions Enyimba, has garnered praise for his leadership during the Super Eagles’ recent 2-1 friendly victory over the Black Stars of Ghana.

Oshaniwa, a member of the Super Eagles squad that clinched the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations title in South Africa, is among the former players and analysts advocating for Finidi to be given the job on a permanent basis. “He’s a good man,” Oshaniwa stated, as quoted by Sports 247. “He has been performing well in his current role and his experience playing for the national team and at the highest level of football globally makes him well-suited for the position.”

Finidi will be at the helm of the Super Eagles once again in their upcoming match against Mali tonight. His leadership and expertise are expected to guide the team to success on the field. With his impressive track record and support from former players like Oshaniwa, Finidi George is poised to make a significant impact as the head coach of the Super Eagles.
