Banyana Banyana Prepares for Olympic Qualifier Against Super Falcons in Abuja

South Africa’s national women’s football team, Banyana Banyana, has kicked off their preparations for the upcoming Olympic qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Falcons with their first official training session in Abuja. Led by coach Desiree Ellis, the team arrived in Nigeria after a week of intense training in Pretoria.

Seventeen players made the journey to Abuja, including overseas-based stars Refiloe Jane, Noko Matlou, and Jermaine Seoposenwe. However, some key players such as Hildah Magaia, Thembi Kgatlana, Linda Mothlalo, and Sinoxolo Cesane are yet to join the team in camp.
