Renowned football expert Oscar Damiani has made a bold prediction about the future destination of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, suggesting that Paris Saint-Germain could be the only club in the running for his signature.

According to Damiani, Ligue 1 powerhouse PSG is leading the race to secure Osimhen’s services, despite interest from English Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Arsenal. However, Chelsea’s ability to make a move for Osimhen may be hindered by financial constraints imposed by the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play regulations.

Damiani points to PSG’s strong relationship with Napoli, as well as the connection between PSG’s transfer guru Luís Campos and Osimhen from their time together at Lille, as key factors in the French club’s pursuit of the talented forward. With a release clause of 130 million euros, PSG is reportedly eager to bring Osimhen to the Parc des Princes in the upcoming transfer window.

Speaking on Radio Punto Nuovo, Damiani emphasized Osimhen’s unique qualities and irreplaceable impact on the pitch, suggesting that he could potentially be the heir to PSG star Kylian Mbappé. While PSG has not confirmed their intentions regarding Osimhen, Damiani believes that the Parisian club is one of the few teams with the financial means to secure his services.

As the football world eagerly awaits Osimhen’s next move, all eyes are on PSG as they look to strengthen their squad with the addition of the dynamic Nigerian forward. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing transfer saga.
