Girona’s triumph was fueled by a remarkable performance from substitute Portu, who scored a crucial brace to help his team humble their Catalan rivals. Despite an early lead from Barcelona’s Andreas Christiansen, Girona quickly responded with La Liga’s top-scorer Artem Dovbyk finding the equalizer.
