Cesc Fabregas Targets Raphael Varane for Como’s Defense Amidst Intense Competition

Como’s co-owner and assistant manager, Cesc Fabregas, has expressed interest in signing former Manchester United defender Raphael Varane. According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Varane is Como’s primary target for the centre-back position this summer.

Varane is currently a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired at the end of last season. The French defender, who previously played for Real Madrid, is attracting interest from several European and international clubs.

Fabregas is eager to bring Varane to Como, despite the competition from other interested clubs. Romano tweeted that securing Varane’s signature will be challenging, but Como will make an effort to sign him. Varane is expected to decide on his future in the coming days.
