Manchester United’s £80m Star Antony Wants Out, Claims Joe Cole

Manchester United’s Antony Wants Out, Claims Former Chelsea Star Joe Cole

Manchester United’s £80m signing, Antony, is reportedly unhappy at the club and wants to leave, according to former Chelsea star Joe Cole. Cole made the claim following Manchester United’s 2-1 Premier League defeat against Brighton on Saturday.

Cole, a former England international, claimed that Antony’s lack of effort and commitment on the pitch was a major factor in the team’s loss. He believes that the Brazilian international, who has struggled to find his footing at Old Trafford, is eager to depart the club.

“Manchester United brought on Antony who, in all due respect, probably isn’t happy to just play 10 or 15 minutes,” Cole said in an interview with TNT Sports. “He is an £80m player. He probably wants out the door at United and they probably want him out as well.”

Cole also accused Antony of not putting his body on the line for his team during a crucial moment in the match. “You are bringing him on and in that crucial moment when there’s a ball to be won, a body needs to be put on the line for your team and for your club, he didn’t do it and it cost his team,” Cole said.

The comments from Cole are likely to spark controversy and raise questions about Antony’s future at Manchester United. Will the club be able to resolve the issue and keep their £80m signing, or will they be forced to consider selling him?

For now, it remains to be seen whether Cole’s claims are accurate or not. However, one thing is certain – Antony’s struggles at Manchester United are well-documented, and the club needs to take action to address the issue and restore their on-field performance.
