Nigeria Police Offer N20 Million Bounty for British National, Nigerian Wanted for Alleged Coup Attempt

Wanted: British National and Nigerian Citizen for Alleged Plot to Overthrow Nigeria’s President

The Nigeria Police have issued a significant bounty for the capture of two individuals accused of plotting to overthrow President Bola Tinubu. Andrew Wynne, a British national, and Lucky Ehims, a Nigerian citizen, are wanted for their alleged involvement in a conspiracy to destabilize the country and overthrow the democratically elected government.

According to a statement released by the Police on Monday, a reward of N10 million is being offered to anyone providing information leading to the arrest of each of the individuals. The Police have been investigating the activities of foreign nationals and subversive elements who have been receiving substantial financial backing from abroad to undermine the government.

The investigation, which began with a comprehensive review of intelligence gathering and collaboration with other security agencies, has resulted in the arrest of nine suspects. Preliminary findings indicate that the individuals orchestrated and funded violent protests by disseminating false information and engaging in other unlawful activities to create anarchy and justify their illegal plot.

Andrew Wynne, also known as Andrew Povich or Drew Povey, is a British national who allegedly built a network of sleeper cells to topple the government and plunge the nation into chaos. He rented a space at Labour House, Abuja, for an ‘Iva Valley Bookshop’ and established ‘STARS of Nations Schools’ as a cover for his subversive activities.

The Police have called on the public to assist in any way they can with the investigation, urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of Andrew Wynne and Lucky Ehims to report it to the nearest Police Station.
