Daniel Ogunmodede Returns to Remo Stars After International Duty

As the Resumption of Nigeria’s professional football league approaches, Remo Stars, a key player in the league, has received a significant boost with the return of their technical adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede. Ogunmodede, who is also an assistant coach in the Nigerian national team, rejoins the team after a stint with the Super Eagles during their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

The 25-year-old tactician has already started prepping the team for their upcoming matchday seven fixture against Plateau United, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Ogunmodede made his return to the team public knowledge through social media, expressing gratitude to Nigerians for their support and appreciation during his tenure away. In his post, he commented, "No Place Like Home. Thankful For Life. Thank You Nigerians for Your Prayers and Support. Together We Will Always Overcome."

Ogunmodede was absent for Remo Stars’ 3-0 victory over Nasarawa United last Sunday, but his return is likely to bring a fresh perspective and strategy to the team. The young coach’s expertise will undoubtedly be crucial in the upcoming match against Plateau United, and fans are eagerly awaiting his team’s performance.

With Ogunmodede back at the helm, Remo Stars looks poised to make an impact in the league, and fans will be closely monitoring the team’s progress.
