#NigeriaElections2023: INEC officials, election materials yet to arrive Ningi Polling Unit in Bauchi

Voters are stranded at Dan Lamire Polling Unit 2, 014, Ningi East, Ningi LGA, as election officials are yet to arrive in the area.

Some of the voters there expressed concern that as of 10.20 am, they are yet to commence voting.

An agent of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party at the Polling Unit, Isa Danbiya, expressed serious concern about the situation.

He said that “we have reported the incident at the Independent National Electoral Commission, Ningi local government headquarters, but nothing has so far been done. We are still waiting for them to this moment (10.20 am).”

Danbiya also said that there were two other Polling Units in the same situation.

The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, who is also the Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Abubakar Suleiman, hails from Ningi LGA.
