The Kano State Police Command confirmed on Monday that two individuals died following an attack on the campaign office of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the Tudun Wada Local Government Area. This incident occurred on Sunday when a group of thugs set the office ablaze. The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna, reported that four suspects were arrested in connection with the attack.

Haruna stated that at approximately 4:00 PM, while results were being collated at the INEC Office in Tudun Wada, a large group of thugs mobilized and assaulted the NNPP campaign office of the House of Representatives candidate. Tragically, two unidentified individuals who were inside a stationary vehicle in the building perished in the fire.

In addition to the initial attack, the suspected hoodlums attempted to block the road leading to the INEC Office. Security personnel were promptly dispatched to the scene to manage the situation. During the chaos, one of the thugs
