LIV Golfers Join Tyrrell Hatton at Dubai Desert Classic

Tyrrell Hatton is set to defend his title at the Dubai Desert Classic, a DP World Tour event, which will take place from January 22 to 25 at the Emirates Golf Club. The English golfer will be joined by 10 other LIV golfers, including Patrick Reed, Dustin Johnson, and David Puig, among others.

The tournament will feature a strong field, with notable players such as Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry also participating. Last week, the Dubai Invitational took place, where Nacho Elvira emerged as the winner, and David Puig finished in a tie for third place alongside McIlroy and Lowry.

Hatton had a remarkable season last year, starting with a win at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. He opened with a round of 71 and went on to play rounds of 65, 68, and 69 to secure the title. This year, he will look to replicate his success, and it will be interesting to see how he performs in 2026.

The 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic will feature a diverse field of players, including Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Marcus Armitage, and Angel Ayora, among others. The tournament promises to be an exciting event, with many top golfers competing for the top prize.

The DP World Tour has seen a significant presence of LIV golfers in recent events, with many players participating in both tours. The Dubai Desert Classic will be an important event for these players, as they look to gain valuable points and experience.

The tournament will begin on January 22, with the first round taking place at the Emirates Golf Club. The event will conclude on January 25, with the winner being crowned the champion of the 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic. With a strong field and an exciting format, the tournament is expected to be a thrilling event for golf fans around the world.
