PDP constitutes special publicity committee for Bayelsa, Imo, Kogi guber polls

The national leadership of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has constituted a special national media and publicity committee, SNPC, for the November 11 governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi states.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the national publicity secretary of the PDP, Debo Ologunagba, on Tuesday.

The committee has the national publicity secretary as the chairman and Richard Ihediwa as secretary.

According to him, the committee, which was set up pursuant to Section 40 [1][a], [b], and [c] of the PDP Constitution [as amended in 2017], is to liaise with the various campaign councils and committees for the elections to ensure effective media and publicity actions for the victory of the party.

“The Special National Media/Publicity Committee, headed by the National Publicity Secretary, pursuant to Section 40 [1] [a], [b] and [c] of the PDP Constitution [as amended in 2017] is to liaise with the various campaign councils and committees for the elections to ensure effective media and publicity actions for the victory of our party in the elections.

“Members of the Committee are as follows: Hon. Debo Ologunagba, Chairman, Emmauel Ibeshi, Member, Kola Ologbondiyan, Member, Emmanuel Ogidi, Member, Otunba Segun Sowunmi, Member, Richard Akanmode, Member, Don Evarada-Member, Alfred Kemepado, Member, Arthur Ugochukwu-Member, Ezekwe Uche, Member, Richard Ihediwa, Secretary, and Ibu Thomas, Tech/ICT Assistant,” the statement reads.

He charged all leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members of the party in the affected states to continue to work hard and ensure its victory at the polls.
