Former First Lady Pledges Support for Nigeria’s Current First Lady

The wife of Nigeria’s former president, Dame Patience Jonathan, has expressed her commitment to supporting the country’s current First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Mrs. Jonathan made this pledge during a courtesy visit to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu in Abuja.

She described the visit as a solidarity visit to assure the President’s Wife of her support.

She assured Nigerian women that Mrs. Tinubu would include them in her plans and work towards a time of renewed hope for all.

Meanwhile, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu emphasized the importance of reorienting and nurturing the youth while instilling good values and morality in them.

Mrs. Tinubu made this statement during a courtesy visit by the National Executive Members of the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) in Abuja.

The delegation, led by National President Hajiya Lami Lau, pledged their unwavering support for the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative project.

The Renewed Hope Initiative is the First Lady’s project that aims to bring relief and assistance to families. Its focal areas include agriculture, health, education, social investment, and economic empowerment.
