President Tinubu Mourns Designer Of Nigeria’s Flag

President Bola Tinubu has conveyed his sympathy to the household of Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, who designed the National flag in 1958.

Pa Akinkwunmi died on the age of 87.

President Tinubu condoled with associates, and associates of the retired civil servant, who devoted his life to the service of the nation, sharing data and expertise with young and old.

He additionally impressed many to suppose and act patriotically.

The President affirmed that the Green and White flag in Nigeria’s flag is a legacy that has persistently mirrored the fruitfulness, resilience, and concord loved by the nation. He harassed that “Pa. Akinkunmi left a generational legacy.”

The President additional said that “the deceased represented the boldness and uniqueness with which Nigerians characteristically reach for and achieve success around the world.”

President Tinubu, nonetheless, mentioned; “Pa Akinkunmi lived and worked for the greatness of the country, and rests eternally with a place of honour in Nigeria’s history.”
