Army Commander Urges Troops to Maintain Courage and Dedication

Troops have been urged to demonstrate courage, confidence, dedication, and resilience while carrying out their duties.

The Commander of the 4 Special Forces Command Nigerian Army, Major General Hillary Nzan, gave this advice during his operational visit to the 167 Special Forces Battalion at Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment, Giri Abuja.

General Nzan encouraged the troops to view themselves as a united front, regardless of their tribe, region, or religion, emphasizing that the Nigerian Army binds them together.

The Commander also cautioned the troops to abstain from substance use and any form of criminal activity.

Upon arrival, the Commander was received and briefed on the Battalion’s activities by the Acting Commanding Officer of the 167 Special Forces Battalion, Major Temipre Ezonfade.

Major Temipre highlighted some of the achievements the Battalion has accomplished.

Voice of Nigeria reports that the visit included a briefing by the Commanding Officer, a tour of the Cantonment, a display by the troops, an address to the troops, signing of the visitor’s book, a presentation of a survey, and a group photograph.
