Nguemo had a distinguished career, playing for several clubs including French sides Saint-Etienne and Bordeaux, both of which extended their deepest condolences. His professional journey began at Nancy-Lorraine in France, where he signed his first contract at the age of 19.

Following his time at Nancy-Lorraine, Nguemo played for Girondins de Bordeaux and AS Saint-Etienne before moving to leagues in Turkey and Norway. After retiring, he returned to Nancy to contribute as a youth coach, continuing his passion for football.
