FRSC: Rivers gets new Sector Commander

Corps Commander Christopher Kuje has been posted to Rivers State as the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC.

In a statement by the Route Commander, SPEO Rivers State Command, Juliana Eni, Corps Commander Kuje, assumed the position on Tuesday.

He took over from Corps Commander Salisu Galadunci, who has now been transferred to the national headquarters, Abuja.

Corps Commander Kuje, who is the immediate past Corridor Commander of the Benin- Asaba- Awka Corridor, is described as a seasoned officer with a track record of promoting the cause of road safety in Nigeria.

During the course of his sojourn in FRSC, Kuje has worked in Delta, Benue, Adamawa, Kano, Sokoto and the national headquarters, Abuja.

In his inaugural address after taking over the leadership of the state, he emphasized that his administration would focus on “FRSC visibility, extensive public enlightenment campaign, training of staff and drivers, prompt response to rescue and clearance of obstruction, stakeholders collaboration and forwarding of real and on -time reports of activities.”
