One terrorist killed, two arrested as police recover 100 cattle in Katsina

The Katsina State Police Command stated its operatives killed one suspected terrorist, arrested two others and recovered 100 rustled cattle in Katsina communities.

The command’s spokesperson, ASP Sadiq Abubakar, who disclosed this in an announcement on Friday, stated nemesis caught up with the suspects following receipt of a reputable intelligence report about their actions and hideout.

The identities of the two suspected terrorists arrested are: Ahmadu Abubakar, 30, additionally recognized as “Mai Boza’ of Wagini village in Batsari LGA, and Abbas Lawai, 40, aka “Abbas Dogo” of Filin Polo quarters, Katsina LGA.

Both suspects, who confessed to being below the camp of 1 Surajo, a suspected infamous bandit chief, additionally admitted that they participated in the assaults on Galadimawa, Karau-karau, Rijana, Fan Turawa communities, all in Kaduna State and a few elements of Niger State.
